Snow Falls in Kuyahoora Valley – First Horseman Rises in Poland, NY

Snow is falling on Mother’s Day in the Kuyahoora Valley. This unseasonable snowfall is accompanied by the first Horseman of the Apocalypse, Plague, who rode forth with a bow on a white horse from the ground at the Poland High School football field.
Our lispy affiliate in Utica reported on the snow yesterday:
“12 years ago is the last time we got snow on Mother’s Day, but this is the first time a seal has broken and Heaven and Hell have opened up and spilled upon the earth,” the Affiliate said, “How’s that for a record?”
“When the seventh seal is broken, and the first angel sounds the trumpets, that’ll create a fire that burns off a third of the world’s trees and grasses, and should melt all this snow right off,” Our weatherman, Chuck Merryweather reports. “But then with the fourth trumpet, a third of the skies will be darkened, and that might produce some more cold weather.”
Plauge, who is getting up in years at 5,710, said, “Um, I think a crown is to be given to me? I need to get started conquering, and to conquer.” Despite his lack of a crown, he has conquered the town’s only gas station Stewarts, and Ina’s Pizzeria. Ina could not be reached for comment.
Bill Folsom of Cold Brook said, “It had to be Plague in our valley, didn’t it? We couldn’t get the Whore of Babylon? I could use some false prophesy right here,” He slapped his arms in an x on his crotch. “Nothing ever happens in this town.”
